Creating sustainable happiness with Wonders of Wellbeing at FGL

“Wellbeing & Happiness” – is an orientation, a mission striving for each member in FGL – to help them maintain a good balance and feel the happiness tiptoeing in during every moment of their life through advancing their empowerment and empowering them to make the right decisions and wises choices.

WOW strategy at FGL aims to bring about positive changes in the lives of the workforce through 5 dimensions: physical well-being, mental well-being, financial well-being, social well-being, and environmental well-being.

Each FGL member is hoped to be a leader who makes a change and creates a positive work environment and a brighter future for themselves and for all.

WOW’s Journey has started from Bien Hoa in 2022 , then to Quang Nam – Mekong in 2023 and Tan Phu – Sang Tao – Xuan Tay in 2024

FGL Sport Series 2022

After two years of pandemic with many suspended activities, FGL Sport Series is organized for the first time on 2022. The program includes 3 main activities: Yoga Online Contest, Color Fun Run, and FGL Football Cup.

The activities aim to enhance the engagement, along with encouraging the physical health activities for our employees – an important aspect of Wellbeing journey. 

As our core values emphasizes on the importance of our employees – our foundation, we will keep up with these meaningful and positive activities, together create a life worth living with FGL.

Seniority Awards 2022

Through 28 years of establishment and development, this 2022, we are proud to award more than 1,000 employees with 5-10-15-20-25 seniority years.

We would love to send tons of thanks to our engaged employees, who contributes to the development of FGL today.

Sinhala And Tamil New Year 2022

At FGL, cutural crossroads is one of the highlights in our journey of establishment and development in Vietnam.

The Sri Lankan New Year is an occasion for all of us to share the outstanding cultural values together. Many gift sets are sent, with the meaning of expecting peace, health, success, and healing, as a warm wish for our beloved colleagues.

Team Leader Development Program [TLDP]

Team Leader Development Program [TLDP] is the program is a program that is specifically created for the development of our team leaders.

In this program, they will have the opportunity to gain practical experience not only from our internal trainers – those with extensive experience and knowledge for the leadership position but also from external trainers who are from the training organizations that have long-term cooperation with FGL – those who have been very successful in training our management team.

This learning and development journey is where they gain practical knowledge and prepare themselves for the path of becoming excellent FGL team leaders in the future.

Internal Lean Foundation Strengthening (ILFS) – Wave 3

It has become a practice that we, FGL, have always been putting learning as our top priority in the people development strategy. It aims to develop our members to become Change Agents who will lead the process and live the Lean philosophy.

ILFS is the program that reinforces the many simple time-proven fundamentals and has been providing us with background over the past years since we have just started the Lean journey. Accordingly, our key objective is to ensure learners can learn, apply, and improve every little thing in every single minute of every single day. Furthermore, through experiencing the whole learning period, we expect our learners – as Change Agents, to understand that the innovation of process, people, leadership, and technology is not just a market trending requirement but an ongoing cultural value development, a long-term strategy that inspires and influents every member across our organization as well.

Through our 28-year journey in Vietnam, we are proud to form our past, present, and future by women’s empowerment, across 80% of our female employees.

VIETNAM HR AWARDS 2020 is a pioneer and unique award in Human Resource Management organized by the Labor and Social Newspaper – the Speech Agency of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with the Human Resources Connection Joint Stock Company. FGL was recognized for “Company with progressive response to Challenging Adversity.”

Nurturing and developing talent, particularly among the leadership team, is always our top priority, as it leads to the organization’s long-term development. Every year, a Certified Leadership Development Program (issued by Thinking School Switzerland and Vietnam) is organized for potential members in order to equip the organization’s future successors with leadership knowledge.

Course Graduation

Continuous development and improvement are critical for the manufacturing industry to keep up with the pace of time and drive sustainable development. Understanding an organization’s core value, we have a dedicated improvement department (LEAN) to spread this value throughout FGL by organizing a three-week short course to share the most current advanced knowledge applied in the manufacturing industry around the world.

Mindfulness-based Transformation

The value of a substance is tangible, which is something that every human seeks in this life. To live a meaningful life, we must always value our contributions at work, to the family, and show gratitude in order to nurture our spiritual lives.

For the second time, Mindfulness-Based Transformation is being organized with 60 learners so that they can experience themselves and understand their role at work. Furthermore, it evokes positive spirit and love of those around.

Neuro Linguistic Program

The Neuro Linguistic Program’s 21-day journey helped learners overcome their limits, break down barriers, and discover themselves in order to overcome their own limits through practical experience in 21 days.

Internal Training Classes

In addition, as a priority strategy, FGL holds internal training classes across 8 facilities each year.

We have no cultural barriers and our annual sports day brings everyone together. It is not just a sporting event, but also a spiritual source of encouragement for our employees to be bold without fear of difficulties in their day to day work environment.

We have given out over 800 Gold FGL Logo Pendants to our most devoted (Committed) employees across all of our plants. According to our data, more and more employees are becoming more committed to FGL journey.

We strengthen the blueprint of our valuable families by recognizing their children’s academic achievement through our excellent students rewards program.
