Job description:

  • Work with multiple Customers on capacity reservation, work closely with Planning Department to monitor planning board and order confirmations with the target of achieving the sales and profitability targets. Make sure all costing for products of sales order is accurate, on time, and competitive.
  • Develop customer relationships by providing excellent merchandising services to achieve customer's satisfaction and manage customer key performance to achieve sales & net profit targets.
  • Lead and manage team effectively to coordinate with Procurement team to ensure the Estimate Time Arrival (ETA) of fabric and components is met according to production schedule.
  • Review profitability of styles, product categories, delivery performance, and manufacturing capacity for seasons to take necessary actions timely.
  • Ensure the follow-up charts are being done on a regular basis and inform to respective members on letter of credit (LC) and cash requirements.
  • Recruit suitable and competent members, identify training needs and implement individual development plan (IDP) to ensure building up a competent team for business requirement.
  • Implement and improve system to ensure it is operated effectively and efficiently.
  • Attend the capacity meeting weekly and other management meetings if required.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration, or related fields

Job description: This position is responsible to implement continuous improvements in the workplace and respond to problems in a timely manner by conducting, and monitoring the lean projects; getting the employees involvement in Lean initiatives; and raising the employees’ awareness of Lean function in order to optimize the production and service processes and achieve the departmental KPI.

  • Conduct and attend project meetings, monitor daily and weekly basis whilst forwarding information to Project Manager, and update Obey a Room data to create a visual management hub to take fast business decisions at the factory.
  • Support in conducting the “Kaizen and Problem-solving sessions” with the involvement of relevant employees on a Daily/Weekly/Monthly/QTR basis.
  • Design systems, tools, forms, and processes to enable people to succeed in delivering the expected organizational/ people development benefit.
  • Design and delivery relevant key people development programs such as training, workshops, kaizen weeks, and best practice sharing forums.
  • Train curriculum standardization and version updates.
  • Ensure employee involvement for Lean initiatives, implement and sustain same, and follow up on the progress made by the plants/Head Office in order to ensure that the required standards are adhered to whilst supporting the following:
  1. Facilitate the preparation of PDCA for identified issues by coordinating with relevant persons.
  2. Arrange lean manufacturing-related training for employees (Ex: Job Family Training).
  3. Update progress charts and audit the process of lean establishment at each department according to the given guideline.
  • Upgrade self-competency and learn through daily problem-solving.
  • 5S implementation and maintenance.
  • Other tasks assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related fields.
  • Lean Manufacturing Certificates are preferred.
  • Communication skills, MS Office skills

  • Analytical skill, Accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
